Sharing Site Access in Gridshare

Application Note | lunarenergy.com

Summary

Lunar installations often have organizations outside the original installer with an interest in monitoring system performance — such as third-party owners (TPOs) or other interested parties. Gridshare's site-sharing feature allows installers to link their Gridshare organization with a third party and share individual installations, giving those parties full fleet monitoring capabilities for the shared site.

Linking Your Account with a Third Party

The linking of Gridshare organization accounts is managed by Lunar. To link your organization with a third party, contact your Lunar sales representative or email: [email protected]

Sharing Site Access

Once your Gridshare organization account has been linked with a third party, you can share individual sites via the "Groups" section of the site page.

To give a third party access to a Gridshare site:

  1. Use the search bar to find the site by Site ID or Site Reference.

  2. On the site page, click Groups.

  3. Click Add site to group.

  4. Select the third party from the dropdown.

  5. Click Add site to group to confirm.

  6. Group associations update on page refresh.

Note: Site sharing gives the third party full access to carry out changes and update settings at the site.
