This guide provides essential guidelines on the packaging, storage, and shipping of Lunar products for Lunar partners, installers, and fulfillment center personnel. Questions: <a href="mailto:salesops@lunarenergy.com" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">salesops@lunarenergy.com</a>

All individuals transporting Lunar Batteries must comply with: applicable federal regulations (including 49 CFR), the Lunar Emergency Response Guide (ERG), and your company's hazardous transportation policies.

Products ship on dedicated pallets directly from Lunar. Pallets may be double-stacked for storage (max two pallets). If packaging is damaged, quarantine affected items, document with photos, and contact Lunar Support.

CAUTION: Battery blocks should only be transported in their approved packaging. Do not stack or transport other items on top of battery block boxes. Ensure packaging is not punctured. Protect from weather and extreme temperatures.

Batteries cannot be shipped through small parcel networks (UPS, FedEx, DHL).

The Lunar Battery Block is classified as hazardous materials: Class 9 Miscellaneous, UN 3480 (Lithium Ion Batteries). Lunar Battery Blocks cannot be transported by air — rail or ground only.

Contact Lunar Support for an RMA before repackaging. If the battery block appears damaged, DO NOT ship or transport — contact Lunar Support immediately.

After packaging, attach the blue RMA label to the outside of the carton and write the RMA number clearly.

Batteries must always ship on a pallet. All pallets must have corner posts. Cartons must be secured with stretch wrap and banding. Max pallet height: 55". Max pallet weight: 2,500 lbs. Pallet size: 40" x 48" (or less).

Palletized shipments (&gt;150 lbs or with batteries): FedEx LTL account 208177779 via FedEx Economy Ground. Batteries must be labeled: UN 3480, Lithium Ion Batteries | Emergency Contact: Chemtrec 1-800-424-9300.
