Symptoms:
The installer app shows an error when attempting to submit the job: "Error uploading job report." Clicking retry does not fix the issue.
Troubleshooting Steps:
This is typically caused by the site never being created on the backend/Gridshare — usually because the system was not connected to the internet or had a very poor connection. Meaning bad or no Wi-Fi and no mobile data on site.
Verify in two ways:
Search Gridshare for the HCSN to see if a site exists. If it does not, this is the issue.
If Grafana has data, click the Gridshare devices hyperlink. If the page shows a "404 error" then the site does not exist yet.
Ask the installer to create a new servicing job. This is needed because they will not be able to access the commissioning job again after they have attempted to submit it.
In the new servicing job, connect the system to a hotspot.
After 60s connected to the hotspot the site should be created on the backend. Verify by redoing step 2.
Once you have verified that the site exists, have the installer reconnect the system to the customer's Wi-Fi network. If they don't do this then the site will still be trying to use the hotspot for internet even after the installer leaves site. This means the site will not be connected to any network after the installer leaves site!
The installer can disconnect from the servicing job and submit the original commissioning job. They can delete the servicing job from their jobs page as it is no longer needed.
Tell the installer to put in their job notes or otherwise inform their manager that this site will likely need a Wi-Fi extender.
