Written by Ollie Wells

This document provides example electrical single-line diagrams and mounting diagrams for the Lunar Energy system installations. It includes configurations for various system sizes and setups, including standalone ESS installations, AC-coupled PV systems, and MSA Controller installations.

The diagrams cover conduit schedules, wire gauge specifications, breaker sizing, and mounting details for the Lunar Battery (LE-ESS-20KWH), Inverter (10-005025), Maximizer Hub, and Lunar Bridge.

Key Installation Notes

ESS units shall not be installed within 36" of doors and windows leading into the dwelling.

Producers' storage device(s) will not cause the Host Load to exceed its normal peak demand. Normal peak demand is defined as the highest amount of power required from the Distribution System by Producers' complete facilities without the influence or use of the energy storage device(s).

The total generation backfeed is 50A used for interconnection calculations.

Conduit and Conductor Specifications

All conduit bend radii must conform to NEC minimum bend radii requirements. Minimum clearance shall be maintained per NEC for all new equipment. Copper conductors shall be used unless specified. Existing grounding electrode system must meet NEC and local utility requirements.
