IslandDER™ is a Meter Socket Adapter (MSA) that functions as a Microgrid Interconnect Device (MID). It safely disconnects a home from the grid during an outage, allowing residential energy systems like solar, batteries, and Vehicle-to-Home/Vehicle-to-Grid (V2H/V2G) to create a "microgrid" and provide backup power.
