2.4 Two Battery Blocks Diverge in SOC From the Others

Symptoms:

  • Two Battery Blocks show a significant difference in State of Charge (SOC) compared to the other blocks.

  • Can potentially cause: AFCI_SELF_TEST_FAULT.

Troubleshooting Steps (Remote):

  1. Clear the overlay plan and periodic plan in GS Partner 'Manage Plans'.

  2. Bring the system to STANDBY by creating a periodic plan with the 'Intent' as 'Standby'.

  3. Wait at least a minute or two.

  4. Turn off smart mode in partner:

    • This puts the periodic plan back into balance mode (self-consumption).

    • It also prevents planner from issuing new overlay plans.

    • Note: If you turn off 'smart' mode the system automatically goes into 'self-consumption'. If you don't, planner will issue a new overlay plan.
