Written by Ollie Wells

Symptoms:

  • Audible clicking sound emanating from the device.

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Turn the rotary switch to the OFF position.

  2. If clicking persists, attempt a power cycle. Refer to the Power Cycle System Devices section for detailed instructions.

    • Note: Clicking from the inverter typically indicates that the system is attempting to go active on-grid but is failing safety checks and subsequently restarting.

    • Requirement: The Inverter requires at least one healthy and communicating Battery Block (BB) to go active.

    • Observation: If zero BBs are awake or connected, the inverter will click when the rotary switch is in the ON position.

    • Utilize the Install App and/or Grafana to verify that at least one BB is awake and not in a fault state.
